GB14287.4-2014 Electrical Fire Monitoring System Part 4: Fault Arc Detection Device
Establish a database of civil building fault arcs and compile national standardsGB14287.4-2014 "Electrical Fire Monitoring System Part 4: Fault Arc Electrical Fire Monitoring Detector".
GB50116-2013 Design Specification for Automatic Fire Alarm System
9.2.4 Electrical fire monitoring detectors with circuit fault arc detection function should not have a protection circuit length greater than 100m.
12.4.6 Spaces with a height greater than 12 meters: Electrical fire monitoring detectors should be installed on electrical circuits, and electrical fire monitoring detectors with fault arc detection function should be installed on lighting circuits.
Fault arc commonly known asElectric spark "is a gas free discharge phenomenon caused by air breakdown due to insulation aging and damage, loose electrical connections, humid air, and sharp voltage and current increases in electrical circuits or equipment. Its main hazard is causing fires.
Due to the influence of time and working environment, cables may experience varying degrees of aging, resulting in various electrical circuit safety issues such as leakage, overload, and short circuit. Although circuit breakers and leakage fire monitoring products widely used in the market provide protection against line short circuits, overloads, or leakage faults. However, the dangerous arc sparks generated instantly by short-circuit fault points and electrical faults such as small current fault arcs that cannot be detected by ordinary circuit breakers still result in a high incidence of electrical fires every year.
Fault arc detectorHYFA has the following functions:
- Real time alarm: Real time monitoring of whether there is a fault arc in the electrical circuit, and early warning.
- Mute: After the arc alarm occurs, the sound alarm can be cancelled by pressing the mute button, and the light alarm will continue to be maintained.
- Test reset: After a fault or arc alarm occurs, the fault arc detection device can be reset by pressing the reset button to eliminate the fault or restore normal detection status.
- RS485 communication: Communicate with the host through the RS485 serial port, upload alarm signals, and achieve intelligent unified monitoring and management.
