FT6001 capacitor box is an analog sensor debugging accessory for RF admittance level meter and RF admittance continuous level meter series instruments. It can also be used as an adjustable capacitor box. This product can facilitate the debugging of level meters, shorten debugging time, and improve debugging efficiency.
This product consists of a capacitor box and a connecting wire, which is a three-layer concentric shielding wire. To improve the output capacitance accuracy of this product and meet the requirements of on-site use, the instrument output is set with two output ranges.
This product can also be equipped with an on-site instrument backpack according to user requirements.
Measurement principle
This product is composed of an adjustable capacitor and a set of fixed capacitors. The adjustable capacitor can be adjusted by a fine tuning knob, and the fixed capacitor can be combined by an encoder switch. The ship type switch divides the total capacitance into high and low levels. When the ship type switch is in the "O position", it is in the low level, and the adjustable range of the capacitance is 0-100pF. When the ship type switch is in the "I position", it is in the high level, and the adjustable range of the capacitance is 0-9999pF. Because RF admittance technology adds an active shielding layer to capacitor technology, in order to better improve the reliability and stability of the capacitor box, a DSH terminal is also added to the capacitor box for connecting to the shielding terminal on the level meter. The output capacitance of this capacitor is the capacitance between PRB and GND.

Adjustment range: The range for low gear is 0-1000pF, and for high gear it is 0-10000pF. Please note that the actual capacitance of this product should be increased by 9pF based on the indicated value in low gear, and by 25pF based on the indicated value in high gear

Wiring of capacitor box
The connection wire of the capacitor box is connected in the same color as the wiring method of the electronic unit end of the RF admittance instrument of Fitter Company. The red fork of the capacitor connection wire is connected to the DSH terminal of the capacitor (red), the blue fork is connected to the PRB terminal of the capacitor (blue), and the green fork is connected to the GND terminal of the capacitor (green).
Wiring of electronic units
The blue fork in the capacitor connection line is connected to the center end (CW) of the electronic unit, the red fork is connected to the shielding layer (DSH) of the electronic unit, and the green fork is connected to the ground end (GND) of the electronic unit.

FT6001 Instructions for Use
This product is a signal simulation instrument. When using it, it should take advantage of its small repeatability error in the same direction and adjust it according to the actual material level. For special use, please refer to the user manual of our company's products.
This product is composed of an adjustable capacitor and a set of fixed capacitors. The adjustable capacitor can be adjusted by a fine tuning knob, and the fixed capacitor can be combined by an encoder switch.
The range ship type switch divides the total capacitance into two levels: high and low. When the ship type switch is in the "O position", it is in the low level, and the adjustable range of the capacitance is 0-100pF. At this time, only the adjustable air capacitance is effective, and all fixed capacitors have been terminated, that is, the encoding switch has no effect. The output capacitance is equal to the sum of the indicated value of the fine-tuning knob and the stray capacitance of the cable; When the range ship switch is in the "I position", it is in high gear. The output capacitance is the sum of the adjustable air capacitance and the fixed capacitance connected to all coding switches. The adjustable range of the capacitance is 0-99999pF. The left side of the coding switch is high and the right side is low, representing the 104 pF, 103 pF, and 102 pF levels, respectively. The output capacitance is equal to the coding switch value multiplied by 100 plus the indicated value of the fine adjustment knob and the sum of cable stray capacitance.
Troubleshooting FT6001
The FT6001 capacitor box is designed to be maintenance free for several years, without the need for regular or planned maintenance. This series of products does not require special spare parts.
Common troubleshooting
1. No output, please confirm if the circuit connection is correct and if the cable is short circuited or open circuited.
2. Cannot switch range, range boat switch malfunction, boat switch should be replaced.
3. Some codes have no output during encoding, and the encoding switch is faulty. The encoding switch should be replaced.
