overview:
The FBY series pumps produced by Shanghai Baoheng Pump Industry are single-stage, single suction vertical corrosion-resistant submersible centrifugal pumps. Depending on the corrosion condition of the medium being transported, three types of pumps can be selected:
- FBY type is a 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel pump
- FY type is HT20-40 cast iron pump.
- FLY is a ZL102 aluminum silicon alloy pump.
This pump adopts an immersion design, with the pump body submerged in the liquid in the storage tank, and the impeller installed at the end of the shaft to keep the rolling bearings away from the liquid. To prevent the upper parts from being corroded by the conveying medium, as the pump body is immersed in liquid, it can be started without filling as long as the liquid level is higher than the pump body. When transporting, there are issues with leakage and sealing. The design is reasonable and easy to use. Due to the different depths of the pump body into the storage tank, the design depth of the liquid can be freely selected between 500 millimeters and 3000 millimeters.
The transmission and rotation direction of the pump: The pump is driven directly by the motor through a claw type elastic coupling, and the pump rotates clockwise when viewed from the motor end. This pump is widely used in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, smelting, dyeing, pesticide, rare earth, leather, etc. It is an ideal equipment installed on storage tanks to transport various strong oxidizing acids and bases (concentrated sulfuric acid, fuming sulfuric acid, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide) that do not contain suspended solid particles, are not easy to crystallize, and have a temperature not exceeding 100 ℃.

Installation and usage precautions:
- This pump should be installed vertically. The flat cover plate of the pump should be installed on the flange seat of the storage tank. Before starting to operate, manually pull the shaft to check for any blockage and whether the operation is flexible.
- Before starting the pump, if the liquid in the main storage tank is higher than the pump body, the pump can be started. It is strictly prohibited to operate or reverse without a medium, otherwise the pump body may damage the pump shaft and guide bearings due to lack of liquid lubrication. If there is severe vibration or abnormal sound, stop immediately for inspection.
- The ambient temperature of the pump during use should be below 40 degrees Celsius, and the temperature rise of the motor should not exceed 75 degrees Celsius.
- Pay attention to maintenance regularly, check whether the pump runs smoothly, whether there is any abnormal vibration, replace the elastic block, and regularly replenish and replace the lubricating oil in the bearing components.
- When repairing, first remove the pump from the storage tank, remove the motor and base, remove the pump casing, loosen the impeller nut to take out the impeller, loosen the six foot bolts on the bearing seat, and then pull out the entire pump shaft with shaft components for maintenance.
- When replacing the bearings and pump shaft, first remove the round nut and coupling on the upper end of the pump shaft, loosen the 12 screws on the upper and lower bearing covers, and push the bearing seat towards the upper end of the pump shaft. After replacing the bearing or turning it off, tightly fit the processed guide bearing with the lower bearing (pump seat) and drive it in.
- When reassembling after repairing and replacing vulnerable parts, first install the bearing seat and bearings together on the upper part of the pump shaft, seal the upper and lower bearing covers (with a gap of about 0.30 millimeters between the two bearings), and use your hand to rotate the outer edge of the bearing seat a few times to check if it runs smoothly. After installing the coupling and aligning the round nut to correct the bending of the pump shaft, insert the pump shaft with bearing components downwards into the center pipe, tighten the 6 bolts on the bearing seat, and then install the bearing seat (pump seat) and impeller (pay attention to adjusting the clearance between the impeller and the upper and lower pump casings) and tighten the impeller nut. Then install the pump casing and motor base. After assembly, rotate the coupling a few times by hand to check if the pump shaft rotates flexibly.
