The Hongji Clean Y09-6H6 Laser Dust Particle Counter (handheld, 2.83L/min) is a detection instrument used to measure and analyze the size and quantity of dust particles per unit volume of air in clean environments, and to determine the cleanliness level of clean environments according to standards.
Widely used for clean room testing in enterprises such as medicine and health, optics, chemistry, food, cosmetics, electronics, biological products, aerospace, etc.

Particles in the air scatter when exposed to light, a phenomenon known as light scattering. Light scattering is related to factors such as particle size, wavelength of light waves, refractive index of particles, and their light absorption characteristics. However, in terms of scattered light intensity and particle size, there is a basic rule that the intensity of scattered light from particles increases with the increase of their surface area. In this way, by measuring the intensity of scattered light, the size of particles can be inferred, which is the basic principle of light scattering particle counters.

Y09-6H6 can operate in manual mode or confidence level (UCL) mode.
In manual mode, operate through the six keys on the instrument control panel. The measurement data can be saved in the instrument's memory, which can hold approximately 1000 sets of data. The saved data can be printed using a random printer or sent to a computer (special software needs to be purchased).
In the confidence level (UCL) mode, the cleanliness level is automatically determined.
