Electromagnetic open channel flowmeter uses the principle of "area velocity method" to measure the flow rate of open channels. The system has a built-in open channel flow model, which uses the single point velocity method combined with hydrology and fluid dynamics to deduce the average flow velocity of the river channel through the single point velocity method, and calculates the water flow rate by combining the water level and the cross-sectional area of the water flow. Its components include open channel converter, electromagnetic flow velocity sensor, liquid level gauge, and solar power supply system.
Suitable for flow measurement in rivers, streams, irrigation and drainage channels, hydraulic engineering, factory drainage, and most sewers.
