Product details

  Product advantages:

• Spectrometer and monochromator functions

Grating with excellent luminous efficiency

The wavelength range is 80~300nm

• High precision wavelength setting

• Compact and modular design

EasyLight VUV is a compact VUV spectrum with a highly competitive price. The spectral range can cover 80-300nm. The aberration corrected grating can provide up to 43% of the best in class efficiency. The combination of spectrometer and monochromator provides maximum flexibility. The inlet and/or outlet slits can be manually or electrically continuously adjusted.

Detector optional types:

VUV CCD camera with the highest resolution and dynamic range

MCP and CMOS detectors with the widest wavelength coverage range, gate control, and enhanced detection capabilities

Photomultiplier tubes are suitable for scanning applications

The customized design based on easyLight spectrometer can be discussed.

Modular design

EasyLIGHT's versatile and flexible design allows for quick switching between spectrometer and monochromator modes. The entrance and detector/exit can be interchanged. Three auxiliary ports can be used to install vacuum pumps, vacuum gauges, additional Feedthrough, etc.

The above figure illustrates the detection of sulfur in lunar simulated samples using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). The purpose is to investigate the potential of VUV-LIBS in carrying out Mars missions. The results indicate that the detection capability of sulfur has been improved compared to LIBS within the standard spectral range. The detection limit of sulfur is estimated to be 0.5at%.
