summary
EMGA-920 Oxygen and Nitrogen Analyzer: The new flagship of oxygen and nitrogen analyzers and user-friendly products.
EMGA-9xxThe high accuracy and reproducibility of the series of oxygen and nitrogen analyzers fully meet the analysis requirements of technology research and quality control in industries such as steel, new materials, and catalysts. This is a brand new generation product optimized according to user needs.
Oxygen element is measured in the form of carbon monoxide using a non dispersive infrared detector. Nitrogen element is measured using a thermal conductivity detector.
Principle and gas circuit diagram
The sample is placed in a graphite crucible, which is placed between the upper and lower electrodes of the pulse furnace. Apply a high current in the crucible to generate high temperature.
The oxygen element in the tested sample reacts with the graphite crucible and is eventually released in the form of carbon monoxide and transported by the carrier gas. After the extracted gas is vacuum filtered, it is immediately measured. Depending on its content, oxygen is measured by a non dispersive infrared detector to detect carbon monoxide or by measuring carbon dioxide produced by oxidizing carbon monoxide with an oxidizing agent (copper oxide).
The nitrogen element in the sample is released in the form of nitrogen gas, and its content is determined by a thermal conductivity detector.
