Instrument Overview:
The dry wet friction color fastness tester is used to test the degree of color adhesion of dyes and other materials on fabrics after friction, and can measure the dry/wet friction color fastness of fabrics. Used for measuring the rubbing fastness of colored fabrics such as cotton, synthetic fibers, and blends, as well as leather dyeing. It can also be used for AATCC standard testing.
This machine is used to test the degree of decolorization of dyed fabrics and leather through friction, the color of dry and wet friction of leather, the damage and decolorization degree of dyed shoe uppers and lining leather after friction, and is divided into two friction methods: dry and wet. This instrument mainly consists of a control system and a friction system. The sample is fixed to the end of the base with sandpaper attached using a sample clamp. The friction head wrapped in white cotton cloth is placed on the sample and rubbed for a specified number of times. The sample is observed and compared with a gray card to evaluate the degree of adhesion on the white cotton cloth. The stability of the dyeing or surface coating of the fabric sample is evaluated, providing reference data for material evaluation and selection
