Today, we will focus on introducing the use and reading of smart meters. Firstly, let's talk about the working principle of smart meters: users hold IC cards to the power supply department to pay for electricity. The power supply department uses the electricity sales management machine to write the purchased electricity into the IC card. Users hold the IC card and swipe a non-contact IC card (referred to as a card swipe, the same below) in the induction area to turn on the power supply. After the power is supplied, the card is removed.

Installation method of digital smart meter:

1. Collect and verify the energy meter, obtain the energy meter based on the installation work certificate, and verify the voltage, current, and other parameters of the energy meter;

2. Prepare and inspect tools and equipment, and confirm standardized operation cards such as test pens, screwdrivers, insulation tape, safety belts, lead seals, sealing pliers, phase sequence meters, hammers, ladders, etc;

3. Upon arrival at the site, confirm whether the installation address on the work order matches the actual installation location;

5. Wiring: Check if the insulation of the wires is damaged, then arrange the wires neatly and fix them well in the vertical and horizontal directions, and finally install PVC pipes for the wires;

6. Installation of electric energy meter box: First, mark and drill holes on the wall of the installation location, then fix the meter box in a vertical position in four directions, firmly fix the box body, and then fix the electric energy meter inside the box, and tighten the screws to ensure vertical fixation;

7. Wiring of electric energy meter: Check whether the wiring diagram of the electric energy meter matches the actual terminal number, loosen the screws in the terminal box of the electric energy meter, and wire according to the wiring diagram;

8. Teaming up: First, connect the wires, and then ignite them in the order of neutral wire first and then live wire;

9. Check and seal: After checking that the wiring is correct and the phase sequence of the energy meter is normal, install a lead seal;

10. Installation completion: After installation is completed, sign and confirm the installation report, fill in the seal number, and ask the user to sign and confirm.
