4. Working principle
4.1 Whole machine block diagram (see Figure 2)
4.2 Principles of each unit circuit
a. Power sensor
The power sensor is composed of a chopper and a linear correction circuit. A chopper is a series chopper composed of highly sensitive and low-noise MOS-FET switching transistors. Its function is to modulate the DC signal input through the power probe into an equivalent AC signal, which is more convenient for the processing of the subsequent amplification circuit. The linear correction circuit is a spreadsheet that stores sensor parameters and is processed by the CPU.
b. Preamplifier
A preamplifier is a hybrid amplifier composed of high gain transistors and high impedance, low barrier operational amplifiers. The AC gain of this amplifier is about 600 times, which utilizes the low noise of transistors and the high gain characteristics of operational amplifiers.

c. Attenuation network and main amplifier
The attenuation network is composed of analog switches and resistors, and is controlled by a central processing unit. It determines the range conversion. The main amplifier is composed of programmable gain amplifiers. It can be adjusted to an appropriate gain under the control of the central processing unit.
d. Amplify network and analog-to-digital converter
The amplification network is composed of high impedance and low barrier operational amplifiers X1, X10, and X100, respectively, and generates signals of three different ranges. Three signals enter the multi-channel, high-speed analog-to-digital converter simultaneously, and the central processor reads the corresponding data according to different ranges.
e. Zeroing network
Zeroing network is composed of digital to analog converters and corresponding devices. When the instrument is performing a zero adjustment operation, the data read from the analog-to-digital converter by the central processing unit is analyzed accordingly and the digital to analog converter provides the opposite signal to cancel out the zero point error in the circuit and achieve the zero adjustment effect.
f. Chopper driver
Amplify the current of the 220Hz square wave signal supplied to the chopper.
g. Recorder output circuit and meter drive circuit
The output circuit of the recorder and the driving circuit of the electric meter are composed of digital to analog converters and corresponding operational amplifiers. The central processing unit drives this part of the circuit based on the results of each measurement.
h. Central Processing Unit
The central processing unit adopts a high-performance 8-bit microprocessor. It manages the operation of the entire instrument.
i. Panel Circuit
The panel circuit consists of an LED display window and a user keyboard. It is the main tool for human-machine dialogue during manual operation.
j. 50MHz reference source
Provide a 50MHz, 1mW power reference signal. When the sensor is connected to a 50MHz reference source, the instrument can be calibrated by 1mW through the "calibration" operation.
5. Structural features
The external dimensions of the indicator part of the GX2C new digital low-power meter are 230mm × 160mm × 360mm (b × h × d), and the display part of the instrument is an LED display screen. The front panel buttons are made of conductive rubber technology, and their control methods are all operated through button menu. Connect and form a structure that is easy to maintain and produce. The channel plate adopts an electrical shielding structure to reduce the interference of stray electromagnetic fields. The rear panel of the instrument serves as an input socket for the power supply and an output socket for the recorder.
