[Overview]
Clariant Ceridust ® 9615A is a modified polyethylene wax ultrafine powder, which is a polyamide modified polyethylene micronized wax with an average particle size of 7 microns. It is suitable for various coating systems that require improvement in coating surface glossiness and hand feel. Can be used in coatings of resin systems such as acrylic acid, alkyd acid, polyurethane, nitrocellulose, polyester, and acid curing.

1. Provide better surface performance and smooth hand feel, making the paint film have good properties such as scratch resistance, anti sticking, wear resistance, increased smoothness, and resistance to metal scratches.
2. Greatly improve the water resistance and waterproofing ability of the paint film, improve the arrangement of matte powder on the coating surface, and enable the matte powder to better exert its performance.
3. When used together with fumed silica and organic bentonite, it can improve the poor surface performance of the film caused by both, and also improve the arrangement of matte powder on the coating surface, making the matte performance of the coating better exerted.
4. It has no effect on the gloss of the paint film and is particularly suitable for coating systems such as furniture paint, home appliance paint, coil iron coating, can printing coating, powder coating, etc.
5. It can be directly added to the coating system, easily dispersed without grinding, and easy to use.
6. To provide excellent surface properties such as anti-wear, scratch resistance, anti sticking, and increased slip for ink, avoiding the friction between paper and ink surfaces during high-speed printing, which can affect the printing effect, and also prevent the upper and lower paper from sticking together.
7. Eliminate the phenomenon of ink film easily falling off the shaft during high-speed printing.
8. It can be directly added to ink, which is convenient to use and reduces costs.
【 Usage 】
Ceridust 9615A can be used in coatings of resin systems such as acrylic, alkyd, polyurethane, nitrocellulose, polyester, and acid cured. When mixing, a mixer with high shear force can be used, such as a solubilizer or sand mill. The amount of addition depends on the system and formula used. In traditional paint systems, the addition amount is 1-5% of the total formula, and in order to fully wet the wax powder particles, the stirring time is at least 15 minutes. In low viscosity systems, wax powder may settle. However, loose sediment is easily redispersed.
It is beneficial to wet Ceridust 9615A with a resin solution before adding paint. For paste like dispersions, the content of Ceridust 9615A can be as high as 30%. After 10-26 hours of curing, the paste can be diluted with paint or added to the paint.
When used for powder coatings,Ceridust 9615A is first dry mixed with all other ingredients, and then uniformly mixed in an extruder or kneader, with an addition amount not exceeding 2%.

Ceridust 9615A is packaged in 20 kg paper bags and stored at dry and room temperature.
