Cole parmer industrial mold cleaning fluidized sand bathFSB-200-I

-Safely, efficiently, and economically clean tools, components, and parts:

-Remove plastic, paint, epoxy resin, rubber, adhesives, grease, lubricants, and oil

No tool damage or wear during cleaning

-Quick cleaning minimizes downtime of production equipment to the greatest extent possible

-Dry, inert, and non-toxic alumina is a safer alternative to hazardous chemicals or solvents

Industrial sand baths are specifically designed to clean mechanical tools and parts by "burning off" any plastic residue. The bath can effectively remove polymers such as PVC, PET, PTFE, PE, PP, PC nylon, and PEEK without wearing down tools or molds. Non flammable, non explosive, and non oxidizing alumina can be used with fluidized gas at temperatures up to 600 ° C (1112 ° F). The digital PID temperature controller and K-type thermocouple help maintain good temperature stability. All baths require dry air or inert gases such as nitrogen and argon. Each unit is equipped with a front panel flow meter to adjust the airflow based on the optimal flow rate set by temperature. Baskets can be used for cleaning small parts. Attention: When cleaning parts, they should be cleaned in a fume hood or well ventilated area. An exhaust ring and fan can be provided to ensure proper smoke removal.

Sand bath fluidized bed is a safe, efficient, and low consumption effective cleaning system for polymers, including plastics, paints, epoxy resins, rubber, adhesives, and other hydrocarbon products such as oils, liquids, lubricants, oils, and coatings, on systems and components such as molds, breakers, nozzles, tools, connectors, nozzles, screws, valves, etc. Immersed in an aluminum oxide environment with a sand bath temperature of up to 600 degrees Celsius, the plastic immediately begins to degrade and carbonize. This instant heating minimizes quenching time, shortens cleaning time compared to traditional furnaces, and maintains a uniform and constant temperature hot bath, reducing metal fatigue and tool damage.
