The vertical two box test box has independently controllable hot and cold boxes. A suspended basket for loading test products that can move between two boxes to allow the products to feel temperature changes.

The horizontal three box test box has three temperature control zones, namely the hot box, room temperature, and cold box. The basket movement of this type of test chamber is from the room temperature chamber to either the hot or cold chamber. This way, the product can stay in the room temperature box for a period of time, allowing it to withstand less thermal shock.

The dual station system has three test chambers, with a cold chamber in the middle and hot chambers on both sides. The two box product hanging basket can move products from one drop basket from the cold box to the hot box, while also moving products from another drop basket from the hot box to the cold box.
