Classification of Medium Voltage Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems
Classification of Medium Voltage Ultraviolet Disinfection Systems
Product details

There are two types of ultraviolet disinfection systems: medium pressure and low pressure.
The low-voltage system emits relatively monochromatic light, which has only a specific output wavelength, very close to the 254nm wavelength used to kill microorganisms.Choosing a low-power low-pressure ultraviolet system is more economical for small-scale sewage treatment plants
The medium voltage system emits spectral wavelengths of ultraviolet light, which means that the percentage of effective emission light for killing microorganisms in the medium voltage ultraviolet disinfection system is relatively small. It is more economical to use a medium pressure ultraviolet system for sewage treatment plants with a flow rate exceeding 4 × 10 ^ 4m% 3/d.
Practical experience has shown that medium pressure ultraviolet disinfection systems are suitable for disinfecting wastewater in combined sewer systems.
