The Campbell CS616 soil moisture sensor uses a highly sensitive time-domain reflection method to measure the moisture content of soil or other media. The probe consists of two 30cm long stainless steel probes, which are inserted into the medium for measurement.
The CS616 has good compatibility with Campbell's CR series data collectors (except for the CR200 series and CR9000X), while the CS625 model can be connected and used with the CR200 series data collectors.
