Dye transfer inhibition
According to the washing conditions, clothes may leak out a small amount of dye or coloring agent. This can cause color changes or transfer colors to other fabrics that escape dyes during the laundry process.
The dye transfer during the laundry process can be caused by high temperature, washing cycle time, amount of surfactant or detergent, or by the fabric itself. To avoid these transfers (deposits), dye transfer inhibitors are used during laundry operations.

Color care
Dye fading is more common in clothes that have not been washed before or have been washed frequently. Fading depends on the type of dye, finishing, fiber structure, detergent or surfactant, water hardness, fabric tone, and various washing conditions. To measure the color retention (fading) of different fabrics, CFT provides test materials.
