Steel wire ring is one of the key equipment for ring spinning machines and twisting machines. It directly affects the twist, packing density, breakage, fuzz, cotton balls, etc. of the yarn. Using steel wire ring well has significant benefits in improving the quality grade of the yarn, increasing the output of the finished yarn, reducing waste, lowering costs, and reducing compression labor.
Based on the analysis of the force and motion conditions of the wire ring, as well as practical application experience, in order to minimize yarn breakage and hairiness during the spinning process, and to adapt to high-speed spinning and extend the service life of the wire ring, the wire ring must meet the following requirements in terms of process:
1、 The geometric shape of the steel wire ring should be correctly matched with the cross-sectional geometric shape of the steel ring runway. The size and opening size of the steel wire ring should match the size of the steel ring runway and have good sliding performance to ensure that the steel wire ring runs relatively balanced on the steel ring without sudden impact vibration. This is very important for reducing the flying of the steel wire ring and accidental yarn breakage.
2、 The center of gravity of the steel wire ring should be slightly lower to achieve balance in operation, with a small tilt to ensure a wide and smooth yarn channel. The surface of the steel wire ring should not accumulate flower clothes, and the anti wedge performance of the steel wire ring can be improved to prevent the phenomenon of high breakage caused by cross cutting of channels.
3、 The position of the contact point between the steel wire ring and the steel ring should be high to expand the contact surface with the steel ring, reduce the pressure on the contact surface, ensure that the steel wire ring has a short maturity period when getting on the car, minimal wear during operation, and good heat dissipation, achieving the goal of reducing yarn cotton balls and extending the service life of the steel wire ring.
4、 The hardness of the wire ring should be moderate. The hardness of the wire ring should be about HRC4 lower than that of the steel ring, and it should be elastic and not easily deformed to ensure that the wire ring can spin normally and that the wire ring replacement personnel can replace the wire ring easily and freely.
5、 The steel wire ring and steel collar should have appropriate friction to control the spinning strength, gas ring strength, winding strength, maintain normal gas ring shape, and maintain good tube yarn forming.
The quality of the wire ring has a significant impact on the quality of the yarn, but the operation and management of the wire ring matching workers and the maintenance and inspection work of the repair workers are essential, which directly restricts the use effect of the wire ring under certain conditions. Therefore, when using the steel wire ring correctly, the following points should also be noted:
Firstly, based on the performance, shape, and condition of the steel ring used, combined with the spinning count and process conditions, the shape and weight of the steel ring are selected. Generally, new steel rings can use steel rings with higher center of gravity and lighter weight, and gradually increase in weight in the future. In addition, imported steel wire rings can be used on domestic steel rings, and domestic steel ring steel wire rings should be avoided as much as possible from being used on imported steel rings. Secondly, during the trial spinning of new varieties, a small number of spindles can be used to prevent large areas of breakage and quality fluctuations caused by improper selection of wire rings, and then the entire vehicle can be expanded for use. Once again, there should be dedicated personnel to strengthen the patrol inspection and observation on the vehicle, achieving the "three checks", "two tests", "one listen" and "five points". Namely:
When looking at the shape and stability of the gas ring, it is required that the angle change amplitude of the gas ring be small, the stability be good, and the bottom be stable
Before and after forming, it is necessary to avoid the air ring colliding with the yarn partition plate. When the yarn is fully wound with a small diameter, the air ring has elasticity.
Secondly, check whether the yarn channel is unobstructed. It is required that the actual channel of the yarn should be at an appropriate distance from the wear position of the steel wire ring. The yarn should have fewer broken ends at the steel wire ring, and the fibers at the broken ends of the yarn should not be flat, that is, there should be no cutting phenomenon.
Check the wear condition of the steel wire ring three times, observe the degree of wear of the steel wire ring and the color of tempering.
Test the strength of the joint, requiring the joint to have elastic tension, easy joint, no pulling or repetitive joint phenomenon.
In the second trial, the distribution of broken ends in the yarn is analyzed. Under normal mechanical conditions, the general pattern of broken ends is that small yarns account for 50%, medium yarns account for 20%, and large yarns account for 30%.
Upon hearing the report from the shift driver, there has been a change in speed and the steel collar has been replaced; When replacing steel wire rings with different batch numbers, attention should be paid to observing and treating them differently.
Five points: the broken end of the large yarn is higher, the broken end of the steel wire ring is lighter, the broken end of the small yarn is higher, the steel wire stock is heavier, the steel wire ring is lighter for the same yarn and fast machine, the steel wire ring is heavier for the same yarn polyester cotton variety machine, and the steel wire ring of the same yarn knitted yarn is heavier than that of the machine woven yarn.
Finally, it is required that the temperature and humidity be controlled stably. Generally, when the temperature is high, the steel wire ring should be controlled lightly. When the relative strength is high, the quality of the yarn in the gas ring section increases, the convex shape of the gas ring becomes larger, and the steel wire stock should be controlled heavily. In addition, the maintenance workers of the operation and daily shifts should run and patrol frequently to eliminate crooked spindles and air rings, and adjust the position of the leaf plates appropriately. When using a flat car or flipping yarn, special attention should be paid to the spacing of the cleaner. If the spacing is too large, it cannot effectively remove the accumulated flowers on the wire ring, which can cause the yarn to become fuzzy and pilling. If the spacing is too small, it can cause the wire ring channel to be blocked, resulting in increased breakage.
