Preparation work

Open the box and check whether all components of the fan are complete, whether there are any damages on the outside of the casing, especially pay attention to whether the head rectifier is damaged or deformed, whether the components are tightly connected, whether the blade motor is damaged, and whether the impeller rotates flexibly. If any problems are found, they should be repaired and adjusted. Check the installation foundation of the fan, which must have sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the load during fan operation, and also check whether the connection size between the foundation and the fan meets the design requirements.

Installation matters

1. The horizontal installation of the fan is achieved by fixing the shock absorber to the fan base through connecting bolts, adjusting the horizontal height of each shock absorber with a center height adjustment pad, and fixing the fan to the welded connecting steel plate on the foundation with fixing bolts. If the fan does not require a shock absorber due to seismic reasons, the screw holes on the fan base can be directly connected to the embedded bolts on the foundation.

2. The basic requirements for installing side wall horizontal fans are the same as those for horizontal installation, except that the installation bracket is made into a diagonal arm support type, and the bracket must have sufficient strength and rigidity. This installation method is not suitable for fans above 10 #.

3. The suspension installation first connects the shock absorber and the fan with bolts to form a whole. The shock absorber is symmetrically installed and arranged on both sides of the center of gravity of the fan. The fan is directly lifted and inserted into the suspension bracket for installation. The height of the suspension bracket is determined by the user according to the actual spatial distance. This installation type is generally not used for fans above 16 #.

4. The vertical installation method of the fan is the same as that of the horizontal installation, with stricter requirements for the strength and stiffness of the fan foundation.

5. The connection between the fan and the two ends of the pipeline must use flexible joints to isolate vibration and protect the fan.

Debugging method

1. After the axial flow fan is installed, the flexibility of the fan rotation should be checked before starting, and the blades should be manually moved to check for any jamming or friction. Check if there are any remaining objects or other debris in the fan and adjacent pipelines.

2. Check if the air damper inside the pipeline is in the open state.

3. Personnel should stay away from the fan.

4. Start the fan and check if the direction of the fan blades matches the rotation mark. After passing the inspection, run it for 10-30 minutes before stopping. Check if the blades are loose and if the connecting bolts between the vibration damping seat and the base are loose. Only when everything is normal can it be officially started and put into operation.

Maintenance and upkeep

1. The usage environment should be kept clean regularly, the surface of the fan should be kept clean, there should be no debris at the inlet and outlet, and dust and other debris inside the fan and pipeline should be removed regularly.

2. The fan can only be operated under normal conditions, and the power supply facilities must have sufficient capacity and stable voltage. It is strictly prohibited to operate with defects. The power supply line must be a dedicated line and temporary lines should not be used for long-term power supply.

3. During the operation of the fan, if abnormal sounds are found, the motor is severely overheating, the casing is electrified, the switch trips, and the fan cannot be started, it should be stopped immediately for inspection. To ensure safety, maintenance is not allowed during the operation of the fan. After maintenance, a trial run should be conducted for about five minutes to confirm that there are no abnormal phenomena before starting the machine.

4. According to the environmental conditions of use, lubricating grease should be supplemented or replaced irregularly for the bearings (motor enclosed bearings do not need to be replaced with lubricating grease during their service life). To ensure good lubrication of the fan during operation, the oiling frequency should not be less than 1000 hours per time for the enclosed bearings and motor bearings. ZL-3 lithium based lubricating grease should be used to fill 1/3 of the inner and outer rings of the bearings during oiling; It is strictly prohibited to operate without oil.

5. The fan should be stored in a dry environment to prevent the motor from getting damp. When storing fans outdoors, there should be defensive measures in place. During storage and handling, the fan should be protected from collision to prevent damage.
