Autoclave for cement stability experimentApplicable to the national standard GB/T 750, it is a specialized instrument used by cement production units, building materials research institutes, colleges and universities, and construction quality inspection departments to determine the adverse effects of MgO (magnesium oxide) in cement on cement stability.

The performance and testing of cement indicate that the content of MgO in cement clinker is mainly brought in by limestone raw materials, and most of the MgO in clinker is in the form of periclase after firing. Its structure is dense (commonly known as dead burning state) and wrapped in the middle of clinker minerals, with a very slow reaction rate with water. It is generally believed that after 10-20 years or more, hydration continues to occur, resulting in the formation of Mg (OH)2Increasing the solid phase volume by 2.48 times, local volume expansion generates significant destructive stress inside the already hardened cement stone. Boiling the test cake at 100 ℃ for 3 hours cannot cause a large amount of hydration of MgO, so the boiling method cannot be used to test the cement stability caused by magnesite. High temperature and high pressure conditions can accelerate the hydration of magnesite in clinker, so the poor stability caused by MgO content in clinker needs to be tested by steaming method.
