It is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB8810-2005 Test of Water Absorption of Rigid Foam Plastics. It has the characteristics of simple use and high accuracy, and can be widely used in manufacturing, scientific and technological rigid foam plastic water absorption test.

Testing method:
1. Dimensions of the tested object: length 150mm, width 150mm, thickness 75mm; resting area not exceeding 500cm3;
2. Environmental temperature: 23 ± 2 ℃ Environmental humidity: 50 ± 5%
3. Soaking solution: distilled water that has been left for at least 48 hours after distillation;
4. Cut the hard foam into a 150 mm wide, 150 mm thick, 75 mm square object to be tested.
5. Place the sample on the balance, weigh the dried sample weight (m1) accurately to 0.1g, and record it.
6. Immerse the suspended mesh cage in distilled water, remove the surface bubbles of the suspended mesh cage, hang it on the hook of the balance, weigh its apparent weight (m2) accurately to 0.1g, and record it. After remembering, remove the suspended mesh cage.
7. Loosen the two fixing screws on the sleeves on both sides of the suspended mesh cage, and then place the sample on the disc and center it; Lower the pressure rod to press down on the sample, tightly fasten both ends of the pressure rod to the sample, and tighten the two fixing screws on the sleeves on both sides.
8. Immerse the suspended mesh cage installed with the sample into distilled water again, and remove the bubbles on the suspended mesh cage and hard foam surface with a soft bristle brush and stirring.
9. After soaking for 96 hours, hang the suspended mesh cage containing the sample on the hook of the balance, weigh its apparent mass (m3) accurately to 0.1g, and remember it.
