After years of effort, Fujiang fans have developed a streamlined equipment system in the factory, including automatic CNC cutting, hydraulic shearing machines, automatic rolling and spinning, mold pressing at the fan inlet and front plate, and electromagnetic heating for bearing installation. 18-09 fan, 9-12 fanPurpose of use


The 8-09 and 9-12 high-pressure centrifugal fans are specialized fans that are matched with iron furnaces with melting rates of 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7t/h. They can also be used to blow and transport air and non corrosive, non self igniting, and non viscous gases in various furnaces and forging furnaces. Other similar performance fans can also be selected, but the temperature of the conveying medium should not exceed 80 ℃, and the dust and hard particles contained in the medium should not exceed 150mg/m3.
II8-09 fan, 9-12 fanofType and structure

1. The 8-09 and 9-12 types of fans are both single suction. Our factory has designed five machine numbers for the 8-09 type fan, namely 6.8A, 7.1D, 8D, 8.5D, and 9D; Our factory has designed six machine numbers for the 9-12 type fan, including No. 6.8A, 7.1A, 7.4D, 7.7A, 8D, and 9D.
2. Both 8-09 and 9-12 types of fans can be made into two types: clockwise rotation or counterclockwise rotation. Looking from one end of the motor, if the impeller rotates clockwise, the fan should rotate in a symmetrical and clockwise direction, represented by "clockwise", and vice versa, it should be called a counter rotating fan, represented by "counterclockwise".
3. The outlet position of the fan is represented by the outlet angle of the casing. Both "forward" and "reverse" fans can be made into three angles: 0 degrees, 90 degrees, and 180 degrees
4. The 8-09 and 9-12 types of fans are composed of impellers, casings, air inlets, transmission components, seals, and machine bases. For the 8-09 model, machine numbers 7.1, 8, and 8.5 adopt an integral structure, while the 9-12 model, machine numbers 8 and 9, and the 8-09 model, machine number 9, adopt a partially assembled structure.
Impeller - The impeller is designed according to the new high-efficiency forward fan theory. After the impeller is formed, it undergoes static and dynamic balance correction and overspeed operation tests, resulting in smooth and reliable operation.
Shell - welded into a snail shaped whole with ordinary steel plates.
Air inlet - made into a convergent streamlined integral structure, fixed to the front cover plate with bolts.
Transmission group - composed of main shaft, bearing box, coupling, etc. The spindle is made of high-quality steel. For 8-09 type № 7.1 and 8, rolling bearing grease is used for lubrication; For 8-09 type № 8.5, 9 and 9-12 type № 8, 9, rolling bearing lubricating oil is used for lubrication.

III8-09 fan, 9-12 fanPerformance selection and application

1. The parameters listed in the performance table of this book are calculated under the conditions of atmospheric temperature t=20 ℃, atmospheric pressure Pa=101.3 × 103pa, and gas density ρ=1.2kg/m3. If the usage conditions do not meet the above requirements, the conversion should be made according to the following formula:
(1) When changing the density ρ and rotational speed n:

(2) When changing the rotational speed n, atmospheric pressure Pa, and gas temperature:
???? ??????
In the formula, Q2, P2, and N2 refer to the total pressure, flow rate, and power listed in the performance table.


2. Before purchasing a fan, it is best for users to measure the actual working conditions of the iron furnace (mainly referring to the pressure coefficient), and then select according to the melting rate, required air volume, and air pressure of the iron furnace to ensure that the purchased air meets the actual needs.
3. The inlet and outlet of the fan are designed and installed with regulating valves or gates. Before starting, the inlet or outlet valve should be closed first, and then gradually opened after reaching normal speed to regulate the performance of the fan. During the regulation process, the current should be strictly controlled and not exceed the standard.
4. The outlet of the fan should be equipped with an outlet expansion cylinder, which is a square to circular pipe section. The expansion taper should be between 8-12 degrees, and then according to the conveying pipeline, the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the conveying pipeline to the cross-sectional area of the fan outlet should be ≥ 2:1.
5. The conveying air pipeline should avoid dead right angle turns and turns near the fan outlet. The starting point of the turn should be 5 times the diameter of the pipeline behind the diffuser, and the turning radius should be about 3 times the diameter of the pipeline.
6. The furnace bottom and gas pipeline must not have leaks, as leaks can cause the system to descend and the motor to overload.

4、 8-09 fan, 9-12 fanInstallation, adjustment, and trial operation
1. Before installation: A comprehensive inspection should be conducted on all components of the fan, such as whether the parts are complete, whether the rotation direction of the impeller and the casing is consistent, whether the connection parts are tight, whether the main parts such as the impeller, main shaft, bearings are damaged, and whether the transmission group is flexible. Any problems discovered should be fixed immediately.
2. During installation: Pay attention to checking the casing. There should be no tools or debris falling in or left inside the casing. In order to prevent rust and reduce disassembly difficulties on some joint surfaces, a layer of lubricating grease or mechanical oil should be applied. The critical connections between the fan and the ground, as well as between the inlet and outlet ducts and the fan, should be carefully adjusted to ensure natural fit. Forced connections are not allowed, and the weight of the ducts should not be added to any components of the fan. Attention should be paid to ensuring the horizontal position of the fan spindle.
3. Installation requirements:
(1) When installing the fan, the levelness of the main shaft must be checked to ensure it meets the range of 0.20-1000mm.
(2) The sealing clearance at the inlet of the fan impeller should be strictly controlled. The clearance between fans 8-09 No.7.1 and No.8 should be 1.0-1.5mm, while the clearance between fans 8-09 No.8.5 and No.9, and 9-12 No.8 and No.9 should be 1.5-2.0mm.
(3) After installation, test the transmission group and check if there is any tightness or scraping with the fixed parts. If any abnormalities are found, they must be adjusted in a timely manner.
4. Trial operation:
After the installation of all fans is completed and verified to be correct, trial operation can be carried out.
Before operation, the inlet or outlet gate must be closed to allow the fan to start under no-load conditions. After reaching normal speed, if the situation is good, the gate can be gradually opened until the rated working condition is reached. During operation, the current should be strictly controlled and not exceed the standard. After running for 20 minutes, check whether the temperature rise of the bearing box is normal, that is, the temperature rise should not exceed 40 ℃ above room temperature and the gauge temperature should not exceed 70 ℃.
5、 8-09 fan, 9-12 fanOperation and maintenance
1. Before starting the fan, the following preparations should be made:
(1) Close the inlet or outlet valve.
(2) Check the integrity of each component and whether there are any scratches or other phenomena between the rotating and fixed parts.
(3) No one is allowed to stand within 10 meters in the direction of the air inlet and outlet.
(4) All transmission parts, such as pulleys or couplings, must not be exposed and should be covered with protective nets (to be provided by the user).
(5) Children are strictly prohibited from playing on site, and those with slow movements, such as the elderly and disabled, are strictly prohibited from watching.
2. After the fan reaches normal speed, the bearing temperature should be checked regularly. If abnormal phenomena such as severe vibration, impact, rapid increase in bearing temperature, and sudden increase in noise are found, the fan must be stopped urgently.
3. When maintaining the fan, it is necessary to first shut down and cut off the power, and then proceed with construction.
4. Regularly inspect the interior of the fan for dust, dirt, and other impurities, and prevent rusting.
5. Except for changing the lubricating oil (grease) during each disassembly and repair, the lubricating oil (grease) can be replaced according to the actual situation under normal circumstances.
6、 8-09 fan, 9-12 fanMalfunctions and their causes
(1) Severe vibration of the fan:
1. The fan shaft and motor shaft are not concentric.
2. Friction between the casing or air inlet and the impeller.
3. Loose rivets on the impeller or deformation of the impeller.
4. The impeller shaft disc hole and shaft fit are loose.
5. Loose connections in various parts.
6. Poor installation of pipelines.
7. Leaves accumulate dust, dirt or wear severely.
(2) Bearing temperature rise too high:
1. The bearing box vibrates violently.
2. Poor quality, deterioration, improper brand, and insufficient quantity of lubricating oil.
3. The tightening force of the connecting bolts between the bearing box cover and seat is too high or too low.
4. The bearing box is not concentric in front and behind, and the bearing position is tilted and not concentric.
5. Damaged rolling bearings or bent shafts.
6. Friction between the end cap and the shaft.
(3) Excessive motor current or high temperature rise:
1. When driving, the inlet or outlet valve is not closed.
2. The actual operating conditions far exceed the selected operating points.
3. The power grid operates with low voltage or phase loss.
4. Affected by severe vibration of the bearing box.
5. The medium contains viscous substances.
6. The dust and hard particles contained in the medium exceed the standard.
