The Holmes hammer mill is a lightweight to medium-sized shock-absorbing crusher designed specifically for coal, but cannot be used with materials that are harder than medium hard limestone (Mohs hardness of 5). These 10 × 15 hammer mills are capable of reducing -6 inches of material to negative 10 mesh at a rate of 2500 pounds. Use 3/16 inch sieve plates per hour. Using a larger 3/8-inch sieve plate will increase the capacity to 4000 pounds. Reduce the material from -6 inches per hour to -4 mesh.
- The covered feeding hopper has a capacity of 1.6 cubic feet (70 pounds) and is equipped with a manual feeding control door.
- The casing of the ductile iron crusher is quickly connected through hinges and latches.
- The opened latch sensor will cut off all power supply. If the stop button has not been pressed yet, please press the reset button before restarting the machine.
- The rotor pendulum and all 3/16 inch thick sieve plates have undergone heat treatment and hardening.
- The rotor component is reversible (connected end-to-end) to extend the service life of the hammer.
- All sieve plates have circular perforations. The diameters of the raw material holes are 1/8 ", 3/16", 1/4 ", 5/16", 3/8 ", 1/2", 3/4 ", and 1".
- A 1.5 cubic foot container can hold approximately 70 pounds of coal. Seal it to the discharge port when crushing.
- Equipped with 7.5 HP, TEFC, 230/460V three-phase, 60Hz motor and Nema 12 magnetic starter. The starter provides a 120 volt control circuit and overload protection for the electric motor. Provide a four core rubber sheathed cable approximately 10 feet long to connect to a power source.
- The crusher is installed on four 4-inch diameter casters.

Hammer millSeries G
Description:
The G series hammer mill is a shock-absorbing crusher designed for materials that are not higher than medium hard limestone (Mohs hardness 5). These hammer mills have heavy-duty frames and racks, wear-resistant liners, anti friction bearings, doors for easy inspection of internal parts, easily replaceable hammers, easily replaceable discharge screens, as well as various hammer types and screen sizes, with screen sizes as small as 1/16 inch openings. The capacity shown is based on 3-inch feed and product 100% -4 mesh. Optional equipment includes steel beam mounting base, motor, driver, protective device, bracket, and hopper. The equipment is coated with primer and coated with a layer of enamel.
Rotating assembly:
Our technical sales engineers will assist you in guiding you on how to correctly select the appropriate rotor type to meet your special restoration needs. Popular combinations of industrial rotors and hammers:
(1) A chisel and hammer for chopping wood and fiber materials;
(2) Hard impact hammer;
(3) Crushing rocks and minerals using a T-shaped or bullhead hammer and ultimately crushing them;
(4) Circular hammer, used for slow granulation and controlling fine powder as needed;
(5) Remove the rotor of the hammer. Please note that the position of the bearing housing extending from the rotor is good, while the one removed from the grinding chamber is good. Hot materials can be easily processed.
(6) A rigid hammer rotor with a 6-point hammer.
The G series hammer mill has a locking plate installation function for hammer pins, bolts, and rods, which can provide you with many advantages, such as preventing end movement, preventing hammer pin end wear, and preventing shell damage (due to damaged nails and worn pin nuts). It allows for replacement and replacement production time that is 1/10 of the original.
